Paperless Tax Bills

3 Steps to Pay Your Taxes

1. Verify

Please verify the description of the property. If there are any errors, notify the Property Appraiser’s Office immediately at (407) 836-5044.

2. Select a Payment Method

Online

Pay by eCheck*, credit/ debit card** or Visa debit card*** (processing fees apply).

By Mail

Detach and return the notice to Property Tax Department, P.O. Box 545100, Orlando, FL 32854. Pay by check made payable to “Scott Randolph”.

In Person

Visit our Property Tax Department or any of our office locations. Pay by check made payable to “Scott Randolph,” cash, certified/ cashier's check, money order, attorney/ title company, escrow/trust check, credit/ debit card** or Visa debit card***.

Please Note

We do not accept personal or business checks for delinquent taxes. Delinquent taxes can be paid online or in person by the following methods: cash, certified/ cashier's check, money order, attorney/title company, escrow/trust check or credit/debit cards.

Important Dates to Remember

November 1

First day to pay taxes and assessments

Before March 1

File for new exemptions with the Property Appraiser.

March 31

Last day to pay taxes and assessments without penalty.

April 1

Unpaid real estate taxes are delinquent (3% minimum mandatory charge plus fees will be imposed). Unpaid tangible personal property taxes are delinquent (interest accrues at rate of 1.5% per month plus advertising and fees). Tax warrants are issued for all unpaid tangible personal property taxes.

April 30

Deadline for Installment Plan Application.

May 31, 5PM

Last day to pay real estate taxes without lien.

Installment Payment Plan

Orange County taxpayers may choose to pay their taxes through a quarterly Installment Payment Plan. To qualify for the plan, the taxpayer must be current on their taxes and their prior year taxes must exceed $100.00. Taxpayers must complete and return the Installment Payment Plan Application no later than May 1.

Applications for the Installment Payment Plan are available at each of our Orange County office locations and online.

Installment Payment Plan Dates

The first and second installments are based on ¼ of the previous year’s taxes. The third and four installments are ½ of the remaining actual tax liability for the current year.

1st Installment

¼ of the total estimated taxes discounted at 6%. Payment due June 30

2nd Installment

¼ of the total estimated taxes discounted at 4.5%. Payment due September 30.

3rd Installment

¼ of the total estimated taxes plus ½ of the adjustment for actual tax liability discounted at 3%. Payment due December 31st.

4th Installment

¼ of the total estimated taxes plus ½ of the adjustment for actual tax liability. Payment due March 31st.

Delinquent installment payments must be paid in full with the next installment payment. Unpaid installments are delinquent on April 1 and subject to the same rules that apply to delinquent taxes.

If a taxpayer chooses to discontinue participation, they will not be entitled to receive the discounts provided by law. For more information, contact the Property Tax Department by phone at (407) 434-0312.
