3 Steps to Pay Your Taxes

1. Verify Your Property

Please verify the description of the property. If there are any errors, notify the Property Appraiser’s Office.

2. Select a Payment Method (See Accepted Forms of Payment Below)

The easiest way to pay is online with Paperless — a payment portal that allows you to create an online account, view bills, make payments, and manage tax statement preferences. With Paperless, taxpayers have access to:

  • Email & Text Notifications — Sign up for eBills and we’ll send notifications each time a statement is ready to view.
  • Online Payments — Processing fees apply.
  • Paperless Statements — Go green and login to download statements, view bills, and see account activity online.

Pay By Mail

Detach and return the notice to Property Tax Department, P.O. Box 545100, Orlando, FL 32854 with payment made payable to “Scott Randolph”.

Pay In Person

Walk-ins are welcome at our Tax Department located at 200 S. Orange Ave. 16th FL, Orlando, FL 32708. Our other locations require an appointment.

Contact the Tax Department at 407-434-0312 (Option 2) for Tax Deed Payoff Amount or other Information.

Delinquent Taxes

Delinquent taxes can be paid in person or by mail by the following methods: cash (in person only), certified/ cashier's check, money order, or check made payable to “Scott Randolph”. We do not accept personal or business checks for delinquent taxes.

2021-2022 Important Tax Dates

11-01-2021

November 1

First day to pay taxes and assessments.

Now through 02-28-2022

Before March 1

File for new exemptions with the Property Appraiser.

03-31-2022

March 31

Taxes and assessments are due. Payment must be received by our office by this date regardless of the postmark date.

04-01-2022

April 1

Unpaid real estate taxes are delinquent (3% minimum mandatory charge plus fees will be imposed).

Unpaid tangible personal property taxes are delinquent (interest accrues at a rate of 1.5% per month plus advertising and fees).

Tax warrants are issued for all unpaid tangible personal property taxes.

Last day to pay real estate taxes without a lien. Full payment must be physically received in our office, 200 South Orange Ave. 16th Fl., Orlando, FL 32801, by May 31, 2022, at 4:30 pm regardless of the postmark date.

Installment Payment Plan

Orange County taxpayers may choose to pay their taxes through a quarterly Installment Payment Plan. To qualify for the plan, the taxpayer must be current on their taxes and their prior year taxes must exceed $100.00. Taxpayers must complete and return the Installment Payment Plan Application no later than May 1.

Applications for the Installment Payment Plan are available at each of our Orange County office locations and online.

Installment Payment Plan Dates

The first and second installments are based on ¼ of the previous year’s taxes. The third and four installments are ½ of the remaining actual tax liability for the current year.

  • 1st Installment — ¼ of the total estimated taxes discounted at 6%. Payment is due June 30
  • 2nd Installment — ¼ of the total estimated taxes discounted at 4.5%. Payment is due September 30.
  • 3rd Installment — ¼ of the total estimated taxes plus ½ of the adjustment for actual tax liability discounted at 3%. Payment is due December 31st.
  • 4th Installment — ¼ of the total estimated taxes plus ½ of the adjustment for actual tax liability. Payment is due March 31st.

Delinquent installment payments must be paid in full with the next installment payment. Unpaid installments are delinquent on April 1 and are subject to the same rules that apply to delinquent taxes.
